Bernal Homeopathy
Bio: Kathleen Scheible, CCH
Kathleen Scheible is a board-certified classical homeopath and has a private homeopathy practice in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood. Kathleen founded the Bay Area Homeopathy Association in 2007 and is the current President of the California Homeopathic Medical Society, which was founded in 1877. Kathleen has offered pro bono homeopathic consultation for elders at the Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center since 2009. Since January 2020, Kathleen has offered free homeopathic consultations for underserved San Franciscans at Community Well in the Excelsior District both in-person and online, supported by the San Francisco Sugary Drink Tax Community Fund. Kathleen has been honored to volunteer for the Integrative Healers Action Network as a homeopath practitioner and as Homeopath Ambassador since 2018, helping survivors of the Northern California wildfires and first responders to recover and thrive.

Bio: Ronald D. Whitmont, MD
Dr. Whitmont acts as medical advisor to Americans for Homeopathy Choice (AFHC). HE has published numerous articles and lectured onvarious topics including the importance of the Human Microbiome in homeopathy. He is a second-generation classical homeopathic physician and maintains a practice in Rhinebeck, New York.

Bio: Peter Gold
Gold & Partners is a marketing and communications agency long affiliated with the renowned marketing strategy firm of Trout and Partners. The agency serves the marketing and communications needs of the corporate and non-profit community with a special focus on digital marketing platforms.
Though trained in the sciences (biology), Peter’s professional career has been devoted to three things – community action, communications, and homeopathy.
After discovering homeopathy during his tenure as a member of the Board of Directors at Hartford Hospital (CT) in the 1990s, he has spent the last 20 years studying and writing about the topic. During the past 17 years, he has served the National Center for Homeopathy, the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy, the American Institute of Homeopathy, and the Canadian Academy of Homeopathy in a variety of roles. Additionally, during that time, he has supported the work of a number of researchers in the field, including Iris Bell MD, PhD, Rustum Roy PhD, Peter Fisher MD, Jennifer Jacobs MD, and others.
He has also directed a number of successful U.S. Senate and gubernatorial campaigns and served two presidential campaigns.

Americans for Homeopathy Choice
Bio: Paola Brown
Paola Brown is happy to volunteer her time to the PAC. Her involvement in homeopathic medicine involves being president and founder of Americans for Homeopathy Choice, the voice of a growing number of mothers and other homeopathy users who want to protect their right to choose homeopathy.
She also is a member of the advisory board of the American Medical College of Homeopathy, educating students about advocacy and homeopathy.
She is also the writer and developer of Teach Me Health and Homeopathy, a program for children from pre-school through high school ages to learn the basics about health, wellness, and homeopathic medicine.
Paola is a wife and mother of three who has previously taught many introductory homeopathy classes to mothers and parents like her.
She received a B.A. in English education and an M.A. in curriculum and instruction from Arizona State University graduating summa cum laude both times. She taught college English for 13 years and high school English before that.
Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, Paola was also a health instructor with Care for Life, a nonprofit organization working to develop sustainable communities in Mozambique.

Bio: Kristy Lampe, MA, DIHom
Kristy Lampe, M.A., DIHom, served on the board of Carolinians for Health Care Access, V-P for the Council for Homeopathic Education (now ACHENA), and past president of Homeopaths Without Borders-North America. She was Affiliated Study Group Coordinator for the National Center for Homeopathy 1992-2013 and taught the ASG Workshop at NCH Summer School 1996-2004. Recently retired from practice, she continues to advocate for homeopathy in many capacities.

Bio: Betsy E. Lehrfeld, Esq.
Betsy E. Lehrfeld is a principal in the Washington, DC law firm Swankin & Turner, which advises and represents individuals, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and consumer groups in a wide variety of regulatory matters concerning food, drugs, dietary supplements, medical devices, integrative health, environmental hazards, and product safety. She has appeared before the Food and Drug Administration and has served as general counsel to numerous nonprofits. A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley School of Law (Berkeley Law), she currently serves as Secretary and Executive Director of the National Institute for Science, Law, and Public Policy (NISLAPP) and as a board member of Citizens for Health.
